Precast Concrete Rail Soundwall for Noise Mitigation

With increased rail traffic through Chicagoland and other cities in the Midwest, precast concrete soundwalls along rail tracks are becoming more and more common for noise mitigation. Typically supported by steel columns, some engineers elect to use single-sided absorptive panels with the absorptive material facing the rail for this application. Precast concrete rails soundwalls are an excellent choise for noise mitigation.
